Horse & Owner Model Call
Every so often the opportunity arises for horse owners to volunteer to help me with a creative idea that I've had. Sometimes these briefs are very specific, and other times it could be to practice with a new piece of equipment or a new artistic technique. I'll post my latest brief here and anybody who feels they meet the brief and are happy to exchange their time for what's on offer is welcome to apply!
Spring Horse & Owner Model Call for April 2024
Location: Ideally Herts/Essex/Surrounding - willing to travel for the right set up
Looking for: A kind and willing horse owner and their horse(s) throughout April 2024
Ideal location:
- Blossom trees (this is the main reason for the model call!)
- Quaint yard with character - natural textures such as wooden doors, mature trees, brick-built stables, archways or little stable windows for the horses are all ideal!
- Tree-lined driveway or walkways
- Can be a private property or livery yard
Ideal horse(s): Any!
- Needs to be well turned out (think 'day out competing')
- Horse must be fit and well
- Happy to be handled and to do a little bit of standing around
- In-hand shots only, horses do not need to be backed necessarily
- Multiple horses welcome
Ideal person:
- A person who has a lovely chic country-style wardrobe. Tweed pieces, smart blazers, dresses with boots, maybe a nice hat or two!
- Somebody who takes direction well (I’ll guide you through the whole thing, no “modelling” experience required!)
- Somebody who is happy to get in front of the camera
- Somebody available week days in April who can spare an hour or two
- Dogs also welcome if you have any who are comfortable around your horses
What's in it for you?
The person will be well looked after just like any other client of mine. You will experience my whole shoot process from beginning to end including welcome packs, planning calls and even a private viewing session of the images we produce! This experience in total is worth around £635. It'll be great fun, I absolutely promise!

- 1 matted print at 12" of your most favourite shot of the day
(You will of course have the opportunity to purchase extras at a heavily discounted rate if you wish at the one to one gallery viewing if there are any you cannot bear to leave behind!)
